The first Sclerotium was established in 2025, raised $15,000, invested for 100 years, and now officially stewarded by the Mycological Society of America. At the 2025 MSA Annual Meeting, a framework for dispersing the funds in 2125 was established, and the first Sclerotext messages were collected to be preserved for the future.
